Warm Welcome on arrival at Mumbai Airport our MAGADH Tours executive will meet and welcome with flower garland. After assist services at the airport, transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Mumbai.
DAY 02: MUMBAI - GOA (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. Then proceed to visit the city tour of the city Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay (a name given by the Portuguese that means "beautiful bay''), is a major financial, trade and entertainment center in India. This city is the capital of the State of Maharashtra which is one of the largest and most influential cities in India. We will make a pilgrimage to the Holy Name Cathedral which is the Cathedral of the City of Mumbai, photo stop at the Gateway of India and the famous Royal Taj Mahal Hotel and drive through Marine Drive. In the afternoon we will be transferred to the airport for our flight to Goa. Arriving there we will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 03: GOA (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. Goa is a state located in Southwest India which is famous for its beautiful beaches. In 1510, Alfonso de Albuquerque, a Portuguese explorer, conquered Goa from the Bijapur Sultanate and made it a Portuguese colony for over 450 years. Goa later became a center for trade, education and religion. The Portuguese influence is still felt to this day in the fields of architecture, cuisine and local culture. This morning we will be invited to visit the Bom Jesus Church which is listed in the UNESCO World Historical Heritage and also the Se Cathedral to see the intact body of Saint Francis Xavier which is moved from his tomb at the Bom Jesus Church to be shown to the public every ten years. Next we will be invited to visit / pass through: Fort Aguada, a 17th century Portuguese Fort with beautiful views of the Arabian Sea and has an iconic old lighthouse and other interesting places. After the event transfer to hotel & O/N stay in hotel.
DAY 04: GOA – COCHIN (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. This morning we had free time until we were taken to the airport for our flight to Kochi with a stopover in Bengaluru to change planes. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Kochi, which is located in the Kerala Region, and then you will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 05 COCHIN (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. According to tradition, Saint Thomas the Apostle sailed on an Arab trading ship, is believed to have landed at Kodungallur Harbor in Kerala, in 52 AD and founded a Christian community in this area. The Aramaic-speaking Kochi Jews are known to have been in this area in the first century AD and were one of the reasons Saint Thomas, who came from Galilee, came to this place. This morning we will be invited to visit the National Shrine of Ours. Lady of Ransom, Vallarpadam, which was built in 1524 by the Portuguese who brought the statue of Our Lady of Ransom (Maria de la Merced) from Portugal to India. On December 1, 2004, Pope John Paul II gave this church the title of Minor Basilica. Next we will visit St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic International Shrine or Malayatoor Church dedicated to St. Thomas the Apostle of Jesus and is one of the international pilgrimage places recognized by the Vatican. After the event we will return to the hotel for the night.
DAY 06: KOCHIN - CHIRATTAKONAM -THIRUVANATHPURAM (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. This morning we will leave Kochi to head to Chirattakonam to make a pilgrimage to St Mary Chirattakonam Parish Church where on April 28 2001 a Eucharistic Miracle occurred where the Blessed Sacrament which was being enthroned in the Monstrance for the adoration of the faithful revealed the image of a Christ-like man crowned with thorns. This Eucharistic miracle was recognized as true on May 5, 2001 in Trivandrum, India. The then Archbishop of Trivandrum, Beatitude Cyril Mar Baselice, wrote about this miracle: "For us believers, what we see is something we always believe in... If our Lord speaks to us by giving this sign, it really requires a response from U.S." We will see the Monstras with the Miraculous Host which is still kept in the church to this day. Next we will head to Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) for overnight stay.
DAY 07: THIRUVANANTHPURAM – CHENNAI (B/L/D)This morning we will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Chennai (Madras) in the Tamil Nadu Region. Arriving there we will be invited to visit the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Thomas which is also the National Pilgrimage Center of Saint Thomas, Which was first built in 1532 on the grave of Saint Thomas the Apostle. In1545 Saint Francis Xavier visited this place and stayed there for approximately 1 year before continuing his mission to Formosa Island (Taiwan). After the visit we will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 08: CHENNAI – KOLKATA (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to airport to catch the flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival in Kolkata, we will go on a city tour to visit/pass through: Howrah Bridge over the Hooghly River which is also one of the famous symbols of Kolkata as well as West Bengal District, BBD Bagh District, the center of Kolkata which has many famous buildings, housing estates, important businesses, and banks, Dalhousie Square, Writers Building which is now the Chief Minister's office West Bengal, Garden of Eden and other interesting places. Next we will visit The Most Holy Rosary Cathedral or also known as Murgihata Church which is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Kolkata which was built in 1799. After the event we will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 09: KOLKATA (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. This morning we will visit the Mother House & Museum, also known as the Missionaries of Charity, which was founded in 1950 by Mother Teresa. Kolkata is the center of Mother Teresa's humanitarian activities in India. His first house was "Nirmal Hriday" which was intended for the dying and sick. He also later founded "Sishu Bhavan" for orphans, the disabled and the mentally retarded as well as "Shanti Nagar" which was founded by him for AIDS and leprosy sufferers. Next we will visit the Anglican Cathedral Church of St. St. Paul's was built between 1839 and 1847 in Gothic style with stained glass windows and two Florentine frescoes and is the largest church in Kolkata. We will also visit/ pass by: College Street, a famous hub for literary circles in Kolkata is also known as 'Boi Para' (Book Market) with temporary book stalls constructed of bamboo, wood, canvas and tin sheets on both sides of the street making it the largest second-hand book market in the world as well as the Victoria Memorial, a magnificent white marble building in Kolkata which was inaugurated by the Prince of Wales in 1921. After the event we will return to the hotel for the night.
DAY 10: KOLKATA – JAIPUR (B/D)After breakfast at hotel. Transferred to the airport for our flight to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur we will visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Annunciation which is a Roman Catholic Cathedral in Jaipur. We will also be invited to pass through the Hawa Mahal or "Palace of Winds" which is a masterpiece of the Rajput Architectural Style. This beautiful mahal is decorated with fine latticed windows and balconies created to facilitate royal women a glimpse of the daily events, royal processions and festivals that took place in the streets. Jaipur is a city of bright colors and colorful markets. Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for handicrafts, antiques, jewellery, gemstones, pottery, carpets, textiles, and metalwork and leather goods. After the event we will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 11: JAIPUR (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. We will be invited to visit Amber Fort to enjoy the unique experience of riding an elephant while climbing to the main entrance. The ancient capital of Jaipur State and this magnificent palace complex has a unique air conditioning system from the 17th century. The fort is an interesting mix of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Built using red sandstone and white marble. We will also stop for photos at the Jal Mahal which is known as the water palace which was once a hunting lodge for the Maharaja and appears to float in the middle of Sagar Lake. We will also visit the City Palace Museum which has several very valuable Hindu handwritten manuscripts from the past, miniature paintings, beautifully painted ceilings and elephant saddles (haudas) as well as silver jars that are listed in the Guinness Book of Records as objects of Made from the heaviest silver in the world. After the event we will return to the hotel for the night.
DAY 12: JAIPUR- AGRA (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. Then drive towards Agra. The city which, together with Jaipur and Delhi, is The Golden Triangle of India. Arriving there we will be invited to visit the Agra Fort which was built in 1573 by Emperor Akbar and is acombination of Islamic and Hindu architectural styles. This fort was the main residence of the Kings from the Mughal Dynasty until 1638. The fort has many impressive buildings like Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am and Machchhi Bhawan. After the event we will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
DAY 13: AGRA - DELHI (B/L/D)Breakfast at hotel. This morning we will be invited to visit one of the most famous landmarks in India, namely the Taj Mahal, which is described as the most luxurious monument ever built for love. The Taj Mahal is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. It stands on the banks of the Yamuna River and was built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. This white marble building can change color with variations in daylight. Made entirely of white marble and decorated with intricate pietra dura of various types of precious and semi-precious stones on the inside. Next we will head to Delhi which is the capital of India for overnight stay.
DAY 14: DELHI + DEPARTURE (B/L/D)After breakfast you will be taken on a city tour of the city of Delhi by visiting the Sacred Heart Cathedral which is the second Roman Catholic Church built in Delhi in 1922. Next we will visit the Red Fort and also 'Chandni Chowk which is a very famous spice market. In Delhi. Unique experience to ride a rickshaw to get there. We will also visit/pass through the City of New Delhi where there is the Parliament Building, the Residence of the President of India, the War Memorial Arch (Gate of India) and also the Raj Ghat where there is a memorial to the Father of the Indian Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening we will be taken to the airport for our flight back to Jakarta with a stopover in Singapore to change planes.
