After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,088 m), renowned for its 108 chortens and spectacular Himalayan Mountain views. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong (Palace of Great Happiness), Bhutan's most beautiful fortress located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. After breakfast, hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), Bhutan's most sacred monastery dramatically perched on a cliff above the Paro Valley.
