THIMPHU – PUNAKHA & PARO
  • Day : 1 ARRIVE PARO (BHUTAN) & TRANSFER TO THIMPHU (55KM, APPROX. 1.1/2-HOUR DRIVE) (L/D)

    Arrive at Paro, where you will be greeted by our representative after immigration formalities. Enjoy one of the most spectacular Himalayan flights before driving to Thimphu with an en-route stop at Chuzom, the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers, marked by Tibetan, Nepalese, and Bhutanese-style stupas. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later, visit the King's Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the Third King, followed by Trashichhoedzong, the seat of Bhutan's government and religion. Before returning to the hotel, explore the Local Craft Bazaar, offering authentic Bhutanese handicrafts and traditional arts. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu (Altitude: 2,400m). 

  • Day : 2 THIMPHU-PUNAKHA (75 KM, APPROX. 2.1/2-HOUR DRIVE) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, visit the magnificent Buddha Dordenma, a 51.5-meter bronze and gold-gilded statue overlooking the Thimphu Valley. Continue your journey to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass (3,088m), renowned for its 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and breathtaking Himalayan views on a clear day. En route, take a short walk through rice fields to visit Chimi Lhakhang, the famous Temple of Fertility, believed to bless couples with children. Arrive in Punakha, check in to the hotel, and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Punakha.

  • Day : 3 PUNAKHA – PARO (125KM, 4 ½ HRS DRIVE) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, the "Palace of Great Happiness," beautifully located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Later, drive to Paro through the picturesque Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu valleys. After lunch, visit Ta Dzong, now Bhutan's National Museum, displaying an impressive collection of traditional art, textiles, weapons, and historical artifacts. Continue with a short walk to the iconic Rinpung Dzong, renowned for its exquisite Bhutanese architecture and Buddhist murals. In the evening, enjoy a stroll through Paro's main street and local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

  • Day : 4 PARO (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, embark on an excursion to the famous Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), a spectacular cliffside monastery perched 900 meters above the Paro Valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this sacred site, making it one of Bhutan's most revered pilgrimage destinations. The hike takes approximately five hours round trip. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

  • Day : 5 DEPART PARO (B)

    After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination. Our representative will help you with exit formalities and then bid you farewell.
